BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Being one of the pioneers in the cloud concept in Brazil, the Construtivo portal was born in the world of cloud computing with all its solutions marketed under the concept of software as a service (SaaS). Present in the Brazilian market since 1999 as a joint venture of Grupo Santander, it underwent an MBO (Management Buy-Out) process in 2004 and is now a 100% national company. Headquartered in São Paulo and with a branch in Porto Alegre, it provides engineering management solutions for the infrastructure, energy, real estate and retail markets. It serves more than 80,000 users with a fully redundant network and with international security standards, working on the largest infrastructure projects in the country.

THE CHALLENGE

In the year 2000 Construtivo portal acquired the Ariba Marketplace solution and needed a technology partner to customize and integrate the system to its service portal.

SOLUTION

Hexacta Brasil was hired to implement version 7.1 of the Ariba Marketplace solution on the Construtivo portal. The work consisted of the analysis of gaps in the original tool to meet the demands and market, complete customization of the solution and integration with the Construtivo portal. This project culminated in the first implementation of Ariba Marketplace in the Brazilian market and approved Hexacta Brasil as a company qualified to customize and implement Ariba solutions.
